A Case of Mycosis Fungoides Treated with Recombinant Interferon-alpha and PUVA

Abstract
|
|
|
We report a case of mycosis fungoides in a 28 year-old female patient who had multiple, bizzsare, kidney or annular shaped, erythematous to bronish, scaly patches and plaques on the trunk, buttock, upper and lower extremities.
Histopathologic findings showed epidermism and Pautrier microabsces in the epidermis and atypical lymphocyted infiltration in the dermis. T cell marker and leukocyte common antigen were positively stained in an immunohistiochemical study.
The skin lesions were improved markedly after treament with a total dose of 45¡¿106 IU re combinant interferon-¥á in combinationwith a total dose of 385 joules/cm PUVA.
